Consignment service: How your watch is in safe hands with us

If you’re looking to sell your luxury watch, look no further.

Many people have given us excellent reviews for the way we handled their timepiece during our consignment process.

Our main USP is that your watch is fully insured from the moment we receive it – and because our network is global, we have an excellent chance of getting you a great price for your precious timepiece.

Advantages of consignment

If you don’t have the time or energy to privately advertise your watch for sale – perhaps you’re worried about people turning up at your home, worried about organising your schedule around buyers wanting to view it or trying to work out if people can be trusted – Luxe Watches is here to help.

We do the hard work so you don’t have to. We’ll do the pricing research and take on all the tasks associated with selling.

How our consignment process works

You find yourself with a lovely Rolex Submariner that you’d like to sell. Perhaps you inherited one, you have a similar one already or it’s not quite fitting the bill somehow, but you’d like the most money you can achieve for it.  

We take your initial enquiry over the phone, via email or perhaps you come to see us in person at our lovely Epping boutique.

If you decide you’d like to go ahead with our consignment process, and you’ve visited us in store with your watch, you can leave it with us, otherwise you can send it to us via an insured courier.

Our watch inspection team will give you a competitive price for your watch subject to our checks for authenticity and condition. 

Fair return price 

We will agree to a fair return price if the watch is sold. We don’t charge commissions as this is included in our price. We boast an impressive rate of 95% of consignees achieving the agreed return value.  

And to put you at even more ease, we have terms of agreement which we make clear from the start. We can hold your watch for a minimum term of one month while we attempt to get the best price for it, and this rolls over until your timepiece is sold.

But fear not, as your watch is insured the entire time it is in our possession.  

Time to clean up

If you agree, we’d then clean your watch and service it, to give it the best chance of being sold – and to make it look top notch, of course.

We’ll then take some slick shots to make your watch look beautiful and we will add these photos to our website and other popular selling channels including our social media accounts. And of course, we’ll make sure it is in prime position for visitors to our store to admire it.

Upon a sale, we will pay the consignee within 3-5 days. This is after the 14 days returns policy period.
