The watches of Cristiano Ronaldo
He’s known for his fast cars and even faster feet but the striker who now earns £175 million a year at Al Nassr FC, also has a sparkly watch collection to boot.
In fact, the sensational bevvy – worth more than £7 million – includes a one-off worth at least £800,000 from Hublot, as well as a Bugatti Tourbillon.
But it’s not just the former Man Utd and Juventus favourite who has expensive tastes, as his wife also owns a white gold and diamond Rolex GMT Master II.
Quite the fashion guru, Ronaldo isn’t often spied without a timepiece on, so let’s check out a few of his impressive luxury watches.
Hublot ‘Masterpiece’ MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis King Gold
Believed to be a one-off created especially for Cristiano, it’s another sleek yet bling-tastic one for his collection, worth around £800,000.
This watch definitely has many similarities to Hublot’s Big Bang models, especially in case shape and design.
Featuring an 18 carat rose gold case – and of course a diamond-set bezel – the main interest here is the biaxial tourbillon that’s part of Hublot’s in-house movement featuring a colossal five-day power reserve.
Ronaldo also has a titanium Hublot Spirit of Big Bang in blue Ref. 601.NX.7170.LR, which has an interesting rectangular case and handsome skeleton dial.
Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon CR7 Edition
When owning a Bugatti just isn’t enough, why not have a watch to match?
Ronaldo has been spotted wearing the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon CR7 Edition worth more than £750,000.
The 55mm offering – which represents the grille design of the motor – has (of course) 232 white baguette diamonds and 109 black sapphires.
What is super cool about this watch is the mini Bugatti W16 engine, made from sapphire crystal. The crankshaft can be turned by pressing the right hand crown, which starts 16 pistons pumping and two turbocharges to block spin.
GMT Master II ICE baguette diamond watch
One of the most expensive Rolex models of all time, it’s made from 18ct white gold and in true Ronaldo style, obviously it boasts a plethora of baguette cut diamonds.
Its Oyster case, which utilizes a screw-down Triplock winding crown and a screw-down case back, is waterproof to 100m. Internally sits the calibre 3186 automatic movement, which has a 50-hour power reserve while the black GMT 24-hour hand means he can set a second time zone – handy for all those trips abroad.
The rare timepiece swaps hands at over £650,000 so you’d be incredibly lucky to find one!
Jacob & Co. Grand Baguette
With five time zones – how handy that is for the Portuguese traveller – this white gold offering, set with 360 baguette diamonds and five crowns – each set with 3.5 carats of baguette diamonds – is something else.
Limited to only six pieces worldwide, it would set you back around £750,000.
Franck Muller Invisible Baguette Diamonds Imperial Tourbillon
For the ultimate in bling, when are too many diamonds enough? This one is set with 474 invisibly-set baguette diamonds and 70 rubies!
A watch like this would set you back more than £1.6 million.
But he also owns the 44mm Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph, reference V45CCDTAC.
