Watches and Wonders 2026: Step inside the world of horology

The countdown has begun to one of the most anticipated events in the horology calendar, and excitement is building here at Luxe Watches!

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 returns from April 14 – 18, with public days on 18 – 20, offering an exceptional opportunity to experience the very best of modern horology up close.

From immersive brand presentations and interactive booth experiences to curated exhibitions and exclusive activations, this year’s event promises to deliver a truly memorable experience for watch enthusiasts.

A bigger edition

This year’s edition marks another exciting milestone for Watches and Wonders. Eleven additional brands will join the line-up, expanding an already impressive roster of leading watchmakers.

The event’s “In The City” programme also continues to grow, bringing the spirit of watchmaking into the heart of Geneva. For visitors, this means even more opportunities to explore iconic collections, signature timepieces and brand-new releases unveiled throughout the week.

Centre stage

Some of the world’s most influential watchmakers will once again use the event to showcase their latest creations.

A highlight for many visitors will be the chance to see the J12, Chanel’s first unisex sports watch. Designed by the Watch Creation Studio at Place VendĂ´me in Paris and developed at the Chanel Watch Manufacture in Switzerland, the J12 has become one of the brand’s most recognisable models. Guests will be able to discover the collection from April 18 – 20.

Cartier will also unveil its newest watchmaking innovations. Since the early 20th century, the brand has been celebrated for its bold exploration of form and we’re sure this year is no different. We’re also very excited to see what Patek Philippe is bringing to the party and also, the long-awaited return of Audemars Piguet.

A global gathering for the watch world

Watches and Wonders Geneva continues to attract an international audience. This year the event is expected to welcome more than 6,000 retailers, 1,600 journalists and around 15,000 guests from across the globe.

The previous edition drew nearly 55,000 visitors representing 125 nationalities, highlighting the global appeal of this flagship watchmaking event.

Learn from the experts

For those looking to deepen their horological knowledge, Watches and Wonders will once again host a series of expert-led sessions. These experiences allow visitors to examine exceptional timepieces up close while learning more about the inspiration, craftsmanship and innovation behind them.

Registration for these sessions also opens today (March 10) and places are expected to fill quickly.

Visitors can also join small-group guided tours led by members of the Watches and Wonders team. With groups limited to just 10 to 15 participants, these tours provide a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the brands, the watches and the technology shaping modern watchmaking.

Innovation takes centre stage at The LAB

One of the most exciting areas of the exhibition is The LAB, a dedicated space exploring the future of watchmaking. Focused on innovation and emerging technologies, The LAB highlights pioneering start-ups and new research shaping the next generation of horology.

This year, 13 visionary projects will be showcased, while the COSC will present its latest developments in chronometric precision and certification. Students from ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne) will also return to show visitors a new perspective on how we experience time.

Exhibitions and experiences

Visitors can also explore a fascinating exhibition titled “Wake Up! – a complete history of the alarm clock.” The display traces the evolution of one of horology’s most practical complications.

A musical twist

Beyond the exhibition, visitors will also be able to enjoy a new evening venue located on Quai Général-Guisan. Created in partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival, the space will host a series of live musical performances inspired by the famous Montreux Jazz Club.

Open daily from 5pm to 11pm, the venue will feature live concerts, DJ sets and intimate performances from both emerging international artists and established jazz ensembles.
