Clocked: What this season’s Premier players are wearing
The Premier League returns next week with fans desperate to see their teams back in action after the summer break.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City remain the ones to watch after their treble-winning heroics of last season. Meanwhile newly-promoted Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United will be out to remain in the top flight.
While all eyes will be on the pitch, watch lovers will also be keen to see what their favourite players are wearing on their wrists. Let’s check out some of those tantalising timepieces…
Mason Mount – Patek Philippe Aquanaut
Man Utd’s key summer signing Mason Mount, who has made the £60 million move from Chelsea, wears a Patek Phillipe Aquanaut 5164R.
Inspired by the rounded octagonal case and modern yet timeless look of the Nautilus, the Aquanaut is a great watch for life’s adventures. The strap is resistant to both water and UV light, making it a great choice for the England squad star.
With a 40.8mm 18ct rose gold case, brown embossed dial and gold applied numerals, a fold over clasp completes the look. The timepiece boasts the self-winding movement calibre 324 S C FUS, as well as a dual time zone mechanism, making it useful for trips overseas.
Phil Foden – Rolex Sky-Dweller
England’s rising star looking to cement his place in the best team in Europe this season, has been spotted wearing an 18ct yellow gold Rolex Sky Dweller, 326238.
The stunning watch features a 42mm 18ct yellow gold case, white dial and yellow gold baton hour markers. Foden can be sure to enjoy having the second time zone and additional time zone settings on his watch.

His choice of watch is Richard Mille’s Alexander Zverev Limited Edition RM67-02.

The standout star of Arsenal’s brilliant side, Bukayo Saka, is quite the fan of a fancy watch having been seen sporting a few top luxury brands.
