Product Misrepresentation I purchased a watch for 23,000 having been advised that it was in "immaculate condition." Upon buying the watch and leaving the store I had a look at it and it was damaged which I couldn’t see in store. So I rang them and wanted to speak to someone about this, and they was extremely rude saying you won’t get your money back. So I said I’ll pop down store and see what can be done, went down there and they refused me entry into the store and threatened to call the police on me. They sold me a watch for 23k as “pristine” condition even though there was a dent in the case that I couldn’t see from them holding the watch. And I would expect they treat customers a lot better than this and not refuse them into store and threaten to call police!! Stay clear of them!

I would avoid this firm at all costs. I’ve dealt with Luxe Watches both as a buyer and on consignment, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected a professional and trustworthy relationship. Instead, they have consistently failed to uphold promises, screened and ignored calls, and rarely responded to emails. I also used their service to consign watches, which proved incredibly difficult. Despite repeated follow-ups and clear agreements, they showed poor communication and lack of accountability. When they failed to sell one of my watches, they couldn’t even be bothered to post it back — despite knowing I live a two-hour drive away. This is not the level of service expected from a company positioning itself as a luxury retailer. My experience with Luxe Watches has been defined by unreliability, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. I would strongly recommend others to proceed with caution.

Anotyer review seems as they like to get taken down!! I do not advise this company. Rude !! I went in buying a watch for 23k I was told in store the watch was immaculate condition and when I returned home my Wife noticed a few dent on the watch I then felt mislead as I couldn't notice this due to my eyesight being bad. And uoset I was not made aware of this especially after asking if there is any damage to the watch and being told no! so I rang the store and was met with arrogance from the store manager. Boasting about that they do not take returns and that they have been in the business long enough. When do I need to replace my watch battery?
You never want to be caught short with a watch that stops unexpectedly. What important event might you turn up late to because you glanced at a watch at the wrong time! Other than that, turning up wearing a stopped watch probably won’t fit the style you want to convey, even if you’re the only one that notices it.
In our experience, watch batteries last about two years, so if it’s been two years since your last battery change, it’s time to start thinking about booking it into our servicing centre. Or at least start double-checking when you need the time and make sure the watch isn’t running slow.
Does my watch have a battery?
Watches that are manually wound or have an automatic winding mechanism (charged by the swing of your wrist) do not need a battery. The power source for these watches is the spring. Therefore, they do not require battery replacement. Check your watch’s documents to be sure what maintenance is relevant for your watch.

What tests do you do to ensure my watch is sealed properly?
Once the watch is sealed, a water resistance test for watches is completed. Typically conducted using a pressure test machine that simulates underwater conditions. The test involves placing the watch inside the machine, where it is subjected to varying levels of pressure to determine its ability to withstand water exposure at specific depths.
A qualified watchmaker conducts this test, ensuring the watch’s seals, gaskets, and other components are intact and confirming that it meets the manufacturer’s stated water resistance specifications. After the test, the watch will either pass or fail based on the pressure levels it can handle without leaking or malfunctioning. The result is usually documented and may be marked on the watch case back or provided in the form of a test report.
Is it worthwhile replacing a watch battery?
Several factors can affect your watch battery’s lifespan, including age, quality, usage frequency, temperature, and water exposure. Warning signs of a failing battery include a dim backlight, the second hand moving in two-second intervals, or inaccurate timekeeping.
